Truly a great food wine; everything from italian cuisine to ethiopian food, this Grenache from block 9 is complimentary because of its herb bouquet (including oregano and thyme) and its fresh fruit of pluots and cranberries. The strong tannins would be an excellent pairing to protein, and if patient, this wine should open up to its softer side in 3-5 years.
